Ivan Wiener, President
Ivan is a long time veteran in the hospitality and service industry. He began his career as a Concierge at the Grand
Hyatt Washington, DC in 1992 and was Head Concierge of the historic Watergate Hotel in 1998. His reputation for building and
caring for client and vendor relationships earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout the city and in publications.
As a member of the professional concierge organization, Les Clefs d'Or - the gold keys - Ivan took service levels
to new heights, making the impossible happen for his guests, especially his celebrity clientele. In 1999, he took his
passion for concierge work and opened Just Call Ivan - DC's premiere personal concierge service. Clients included Washington,
DC's sports teams and visiting athletes, the film and entertainment industry and corporate executives.
In 2001,
he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where success continued for Just Call Ivan. He rejoined Hyatt Hotels & Resorts
in 2002 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa as Director of Concierge & Guest Services. In 2004, his department
was honored by being #1 in overall guest satisfaction by a guest services team throughout Hyatt Corporation. In 2005,
Ivan became the resort Sales Manager for the Entertainment Industry and was instrumental in bringing business to the resort
through his hard work, determination and industry contacts.
Ivan's passion for providing the highest levels of
service, making clients feel at home, away from home and saving them thousands of dollars through his extensive network
of preferred vendors inspired the creation of Reel Solutions in May 2008.
Mark
Ching, Executive Chef
Executive Chef Mark Ching is a 38-year veteran
of the restaurant business, starting his career at age 11 when he cooked the dinner shift after school at his family’s
restaurant in San Francisco, and continuing with positions in city-center hotel restaurants throughout the country.
Becoming the preferred personal chef for Reel Solutions' clients has added value and consistency to the high levels of service
we provide. Along with his culinary expertise and passion for presenting diverse, healthy and unique menus, Mark goes
above and beyond with all clients and becomes a personal confidant in and out of the kitchen.
Dennis Hopper said
it best, stating, "Mark is the best chef I have experienced in all my years of travel. The food he prepares
and the service he provides is unbelievable. I have never eaten so well."
Prior to joining the Reel
Solutions team, Chef Ching worked at several Hyatt hotels and resorts including the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa,
Grand Hyatt San Francisco, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, Hyatt Regency Phoenix and Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Before
entering the hotel business, he worked at several freestanding restaurants in San Francisco. He received an associate’s
degree in hotel & restaurant management from the City College of San Francisco.
